Fundraising Target: £150 per crew member (York Rotary expects each team to raise at least £2,000 as sponsorship as a condition of taking part. Many teams raise much more)
Join Team York Mind in the annual Dragon Boat race and help us raise crucial funds to support mental health services in our community. We're looking for 20 motivated individuals or corporate teams to paddle together and show their support for York Mind’s life-changing work.
It’s set to be a fun, action packed day on the water, filled with teamwork and friendly competition, but it’s not just about the race—it’s about making a real impact! By joining us, you’ll help raise vital funds and awareness while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow team members - so grab your paddles and join us for a day of fun and purpose!
On race day there will also be a Gala on the North Bank of the River, where the public can watch the racing and enjoy the fun of stalls, competitions, music, food and drink - so bring the whole family!
