About our services
If you are a young person aged 12 to 25 experiencing struggles with your emotions or mental health, such as often feeling low, stressed or worried, accessing support can help in a number of ways; It can offer space for you to explore things to work towards better understanding what you are experiencing, help you learn ways of supporting and improving your mental wellbeing, and learn that you do not have to struggle alone.
We offer a range of different support
- Young People's Counselling - 1 to 1 counselling for people aged 12-21
- YorChoice Young People's Drop-In - drop in service for people aged 14-21 (up to 25 for SEND)
- Pride in Mind Young People's LGBTQ+ Support - mental health group support for people aged 12-18 who identify as LGBTQ+
- Expressive Mind's Young People's Group Support - art based mental health group support for people aged 11-18.
- YorMind Website and ChatChit Podcast - website with information about mental health for young people and links to over 50 different organisations that support in York.
