What is the Wellbeing Peer Support Group?
York Mind in partnership with York MH Hub, will be delivering a range of peer support and psycho-educational groups, all geared to promote positive mental wellbeing. Our group connects people looking to improve and/or maintain their wellbeing. It is a space to share ideas/strategies and discuss relevant topics.
What is on offer?
- A safe space that is supportive and confidential.
- Led by a facilitator with lived experience of mental health. Who will provide materials to support the sessions.
- Topics are agreed and chosen by group members. These could include managing anxieties, sleep and healthy relationships.
- Members will engage and support each other, through conversation and sharing ideas, feelings and experiences. (Around chosen focused topics).
Who is it for?
Anyone aged 18+, living in the following ward areas of York, who are able to actively engage in a group setting and benefit from well-being support.
- Haxby and Wigginton
- Strensall
- Huntington and New Earswick
- Rawcliffe and Clifton Without
- Clifton
- Guildhall

Your Commitment
The group will run for 9 weeks. You will be expected to attend and contribute each week, as topics are explored.
