Support us this Spring

Spring into action!

Put a spring in your step this April by joining us in some spring-themed fundraising activities!

Whether it's hosting a spring garden party, organising a sponsored springtime walk, or holding a bake sale featuring seasonal treats, there are plenty of fun and creative ways to raise funds while embracing the spirit of the season. Here are a few more fundraising ideas you could take inspiration from:

1. Spring Garden Party: Host a garden party with live music, BBQ, and outdoor games. Charge an entry fee or sell tickets to raise funds.

2. Spring Clean Sale: Encourage people to declutter their homes and donate items for a spring-themed yard sale. All proceeds go to York Mind.

3. Easter Egg Hunt: Organise an Easter egg hunt in a local park or community centre. Participants can pay a fee to join, and you can also sell snacks and drinks during the event.

4. Plant Sale: Partner with a local nursery or garden center to organise a plant sale. Offer a variety of spring flowers, herbs, and vegetables for people to purchase.

5. Spring Walkathon: Organise a sponsored walk or run through scenic routes in your area. Participants can collect pledges or donate a registration fee to participate.

6. Spring-themed Bake Sale: Bake and sell spring-themed treats such as flower-shaped cookies, carrot cake cupcakes, and lemonade. You could set up a booth at local events or outside grocery stores.

7. Picnic in the Park: Host a picnic fundraiser in a local park. Sell tickets that include picnic baskets filled with sandwiches, fruits, and snacks.

8. Spring Fashion Show: Organise a spring fashion show. Sell tickets to attend the event and offer opportunities for businesses to sponsor the show.

9. Outdoor Movie Night: Set up an outdoor (or indoor!) movie screening. Charge admission and sell popcorn, snacks, and drinks during the movie.

10. Spring-themed Art Auction: Invite local artists to donate spring-themed artwork for an auction.

As a local Mind organisation, we take pride in serving our community, but we also rely on the generosity of individuals like you to fund our initiatives. Without your support, we wouldn't be able to provide the crucial services that so many depend on.
